The surgeon has to be cognizant of facial dimensions and strive to correct imbalances. The striking deficiency in this patient's pre-operative photograph is an inverted ratio of mid to lower face heights due to a diminished vertical chin length. Forward chin projection is also lacking. The face and eyelid surgery refreshed the looks but the properly positioned chin implant was the icing on the cake.
