The tummy-tuck (Abdominoplasty) procedure can eliminate scars resulting from other abdominal surgeries. This result is seen at 6 months after the surgery when the scars have matured (faded out). The abdominal incision was placed slightly higher than I would like it to be in order to prevent excessive tension for this patient who was in her mid-seventies.
